Dubai, UAE, 17th October 2016: Clima Uno, a renowned brand of air handling units and fan coil units, helped industry professionals get insights on Eurovent Certification by hosting two seminars on the subject. The seminars were held in Dubai on 3rd October and in Doha on 4th October 2016.
The two-city programme was organised in co-operation with Eurovent Certita Certification, which is one of Europe’s leading industry associations for indoor climate. It focussed on the role of Eurovent in establishing a level-playing field for manufacturers in the HVAC industry and ensuring the fundamental integrity of products.
Eurovent also officially announced its new ‘Hygiene’ certification for Air Handling Units at these events, which were attended by government officials, HVAC consultants, contractors and clients. Erick Melquiond, President of Eurovent Certification, Navin Valrani, CEO of Clima Uno and Tarek Maleh, Operations & Technical Manager of Clima Uno, were the key speakers.
Erick Melquiond said, “Certification is important for establishing standards and credibility in the HVAC industry. Energy is going to be a major concern in the future and our efforts as Eurovent is to establish standards which will encourage consultants to design the HVAC system keeping energy saving as the prime focus.”

Clima Uno is currently investing in a new factory in Dubai Investment Park. The purpose-built facility will occupy an area of 100, 000 sq.ft. and can accommodate a future expansion across an additional 100,000 sq.ft. The project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2017.
